The Bavaria C46 is on course to her first award! At the end of July, the new Bavaria C46 impressed at her first sea trials, and has now been nominated for the 2024 European Yacht of the Year Award by the international jury. Ensign Yachts are proud to represent a multi-award-winning brand and have no doubt that the new C46 will carry on the success of the rest of the C Line, with the C42 having won the EYOTY Award in 2021.
To be among the finalists is already a great achievement. The next sea trials for the finalists will take place in La Rochelle mid-September and in Port Ginesta near Barcelona mid-October. Following that, the jury members do thorough debriefings, dive deep down into the specs and the data from the tests, they spend hour after hour debating before the verdict is reached in January 2024.
